Amigo Saxophone Quartet is a modular saxophone chamber group based primarily in Southeast Asia. Meeting each other at various international saxophone events around the globe, many of them are educated in different parts of the world such as Asia, Europe and the United States.

Since its inception, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet has performed at the 15th and 16th World Saxophone Congress and in various parts of  Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore; Chinese University in Hong Kong, Macau Band Festival Headquarters and the Mandarin's House in Macau, Annexe Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the Young Musician Society in Singapore and various universities in Thailand such as Kasertart University, Taksin University, Songkhla Rajabhat University. In 2012, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet performed a series of concert in Belgium and Scotland, featuring the music of Singaporean composers. Since 2011, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet/Collective has become the resident chamber group for the Singapore Saxophone Symposium and from 2015, became the reading group for the Singapore Saxophone Composition workshop.

Since its formation, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet has been an advocate of new music, especially those of Southeast Asian Composers. Since 2009, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet has premiere music by Singaporean composers such as Dr. Zechariah Goh Toh Chai (NAFA, Singapore), Dr. Jeremiah Li and Bernard Lee Kah Hong. In 2013, the quartet received works written for them by Dr. Richard Tsang (HKIEd,Hong Kong), Emily Koh (Singapore) and performed the Asia premiere of 'The Dragon' by Dr. Pui San Cheung (HKAPA, Hong Kong). In 2014, the group premiered works for quartet and octet by Dr. Mei Fang Lin (Texas Tech University, USA) and Dr. Austin Yip (Baptist University, Hong Kong), In 2015, the group received works by Dr. Narong Prangcharoen (UMKC,USA) and Dr. Leung Chi-Hin (HKIEd, Hong Kong)..  Apart from new works, the Amigo Saxophone Quartet has also premiered standard music written for the saxophone in Southeast Asia by David Maslanka and Theirry Escaich, among others and transcriptions of Baroque and Classical music.

Plans for 2016 includes the world premiere of a piece by Dr. Diana Soh (Paris, France) and performances in Bangkok, Thailand and Singapore.
